It has been a fantastic corner-to-corner (Miami to Seattle) week with a couple lovely days home in the middle. Thank you to
@FCIS_FKC , Nicole Robison, and the team at
@FCISnews and Mark Crotty, Emily McGrath, and the team at
@NWAISconnect . It was a joy to present with
@OverlakeSchool head-elect and
@MissionAndData affiliate consultant Gretchen Warner on effective governance committees and to sit in on Christina Dotchin and Allison Davis' session previewing
@EnrollmentORG 's upcoming Ride to Independent Schools report.
@CliffKling and I were able to be together in person following Mission & Data's announcement last week that he will be joining our firm to launch our executive compensation practice. Plus, we shared dinner with Brett Jacobsen (who gave a wonderful keynote) and Ethan Shapiro who caught us up on the exciting things happening at Saint Andrew's School. Gretchen and I even ran into Elizabeth Kolb Farr in person! Out west with
@NWAISconnect, I loved reconnecting with Antonio Viva before his exciting opening keynote and presenting about building trust when everyone is a skeptic and another session on mission-driven data-informed decision making (after getting a beautiful morning run along the water). On my way to the airport, I saw
@peterdbaron before his big day on Tuesday and Alex Halladay after her award-winning time at EMA AC. And...if that wasn't enough, I managed to stay on East Coast time. It was G-R-E-A-T to be with so many wonderful people.
