Introducing Roxanne βRoxyβ Hart.
This little lady and I found each other almost a month ago through
@ckrescue. I didnβt know Iβd be taking her home the evening we met and despite how unprepared I felt, I knew I wasnβt going to leave without her.
For the first week I was terrified. This tiny 2 year old Jack Russel x Dachshund, weighing only 4kgs now relied on me for everything and the fear of letting her down was overwhelming. Sheβs just so freakin smol! She has luxating patella or βfloating kneecapsβ which requires surgery on both back legs, beginning with her left. Though she will be out of action for a few weeks come next Tuesday, that certainly hasnβt stopped her from playing, walkies and zooming about, making me laugh every day. Her silly face has brought joy back into my home, along with a level of companionship that I havenβt experienced before. She is not only my tiny shadow with zero understanding of personal space, sheβs my pocket sized protector with the sassiest, sweetest and most curious nature. I love my lil weirdo and her crop circle butt.
The name on everybodyβs lips is gonna be Roxy!β¦. unless sheβs being naughty, then itβs Roxanne.
