Beyond thrilled to announce Fight Forever is now available in physical form for international purchase! 20 years of Kevin and Sami's history in one convenient place--as many matches and moments as I could fit between two covers!
Things I learned from the most recent LFG:
1. Matt Bloom remains adorable.
2. Kevin Owens has soft, warm hands.
3. Kevin is also very emphatic about team hand-touching!
The El Grande showdown was amazing, but I especially appreciated Chad's daughter's face--(😯😬)--after her gore-soaked father gives her a high-five.
You can watch the whole match--30 minutes plus another 15 in setup and entrances--here:

And Chad's post-match speech here: youtu.be/PpQy8M-0ZGo?si=wZ1j…
(I know! I was as shocked as you to find out it was Chad Gable all along!!)
Oh, thank you so much! Wrestling history is an amazing thing, and Sami and Kevin are amazing examples of it!
(You too can get caught up on that history by reading Fight Forever: The Ballad of Kevin and Sami! a.co/d/02VLYl7e)
A moment I loved on LFG: Matt Bloom reviewing a match and stopping *immediately*--in the middle of a sentence, even!--when he sees Serina Linton tearing up, to check and make sure she's okay.
You can see the instant the pantomime of urgency shifts into real urgency as the stairs get overbalanced and careen toward the fans. (I note Jason Jordan, specifically, wedging his body between the stairs and the barricade to try and block its motion).
Johnny's eyes at the very last second! I would love if Sami, while mostly giving himself a pep talk with Johnny a secondary audience, still managed to snap him out of his depression.
Wrestling has a literature: ghostwritten memoirs, kayfabe paperbacks, histories, vanity projects, masterpieces and disasters.
We want to know about them all. That's right—Hybrid Shoot wants to publish a book about wrestling books!
Looking for the right author. DM if this is you
A very nice, very evil moonsault from Danhausen's tag team partner!
(The way Miz, Danhausen and the ref all simultaneously accent the impact is also awesome).
One of the little things I love about wrestling is gasping at the impact of a move and then going back and noticing how Sami kicks his legs up at JUST the right moment to add extra hang time to Trick's move.
Of all the struggles and tribulations Sami has faced recently, surely none were more of a challenge than R-Truth attempting to get him to corpse during this segment. (I'm happy to report that Sami was unbreakable!)
