Time for the Jain community to introspect. During Paryushan, you cant expect non vegetarian communities to observe vegetarianism or ask butchers to stop slaughtering animals for 8-9 days.. That amounts to imposing your food habits on other communities.. Likewise, you can't deny a non vegetarian from buying an apartment just because he/she cooks non vegetarian food. The current imbroglio would not have arisen if, the Jain Community, which believes in peaceful coexistence and non violence, had not committed excesses..
