One of the garden designers featured in #TheLiteraryGarden @mobotmuseum who was a prolific author was Gertrude Jekyll (English, 1843-1932). She favored white flowering plants, one of which was the dramatic Yucca filamentosa, which you can see growing around @mobotgarden.
