I've noticed the past few months that my posts have been getting less and less traction on here, and also that they don't even appear in the hashtags or searches anymore.

Like, yeah.
My mom has been watching anime longer than I've been alive, and reads BL manga. My grandma even watches anime and reads manga, so like why wouldn't I share the series I like with them.

I feel like it's weird when parents don't know what kind of stuff their kids like, or are weirdly judgy about it. I also feel like something isn't alright on the parent's side if you feel like you need to or have to hide your interests and hobbies from them.
