Thomas Trivia : If you were one of the unlucky few who didn't have cable/satalite to watch #thomasandfriends 4th series on #cartoonnetwork given the show was on its first #CiTV hiatus at the time, you had to wait and own several #vhs titles released between 1994 - 1997...

The US, in 1995, and had already premiered a short selection of stories on the Shining Time Station family specials with the rest following on Mr Conductors Thomas Tales a year later, five tapes were released between 95 and 97 though without stories from previous seasons.

With all this in mind, season four seemingly had the longest wait period for all of it's episodes to be released on VHS regardless of the territory altogether, and that was for those who didn't have the luxury of bonus channels to watch all the stories prior to home video...

The UK did however gain some content produced exclusively for video, some of which wasn't released outside of the UK, including fan introductions and singalongs, Story and Song Collection and Playtime we're eventually released though later released in Australia between 97 and 98.

Having now finished all of Percy's jobs along with those of Thomas Diesel, all of the FFarquhar route timetables of #wondersofsodor are now 100% complete, leaving Gordon, Emily and James' mainline timetables remaining...

An article from the July 1990 edition of Steam Railway magazine about Thomas events, back when these were a fairly new phenomenon on heritage railways.
Some interesting stuff here, seems like these events were ‘lightning in a bottle’ for some railways at the time.
