I would say that it’s a utopian vision of education made up by someone that’s never taught in a classroom.
Periodic reminder that differentiation is a made up concept to make you feel guilty for not keeping up with the impossible task of teaching to vastly different skill levels.

Summer school credit recovery is a scam. Sure, learn an entire semesters worth of curriculum in 19 days.

Even better when the cute girl in class was sitting near the sharpener.
Sharpening a pencil at the bin was the childhood equivalent of taking a cigarette break

Wrong. Again.
Things #Teachers don’t talk about: You spend the first month teaching people how to exist in your classroom before you can even touch the curriculum.

Student: Teacher my homework is 95% done! Teacher: You wrote your name and put the date on it.
Insider reporting from an unnamed White House official says the Iran deal is “95% done.” The remaining 5% of negotiations are focused on Iran opening the Strait of Hormuz and turning over all nuclear material.

Let’s be clear, I totally support higher teacher pay. However, I think the impact it has is minimal (maybe non-measurable?) on student outcomes. If you want a true measuring stick, look at the parents’ income, not the teachers.

Bro, wait until you hear about Pajama Day.
I’m not saying you ought to wear bespoke tailoring, but dressing like this at 50 is so crazy to me

When I was in high school, a buddy and I figured out you could see the underside of the cap by slightly tipping the bottle. I drank free Sunkist all summer that year.
