Welp, a lotta stress, a lotta reigning in of my desire to just have a whole middle section of cosplay pictures and a thirty plus page essay on Princess Leia, but @mcveysamantha and I (with a lotta support) wrote a book for @MomStuffPodcast !

Who’s that on @MomStuffPodcast this week? 👀 It’s our host and founder Saadia (@swkkhan ) ! 🎉
Saadia sat down with Anney and Samantha to talk about the immigrant experience, the importance of telling these stories, and inclusive feminism.

Know your rights and make sure those around you do as well. ✊
ALT Text in white reads:
KNOW YOUR PROTEST RIGHTS:
You don't need a permit to protest in response to breaking news and you don’t need a permit to march in the streets or along sidewalks, as long as you’re not obstructing traffic or access to buildings. If you don’t have a permit, police officers can order you to move to the side of the street or sidewalk to let others pass or for safety reasons.
When you are lawfully present in any public space, you have the right to photograph anything in plain view, including federal buildings and the police.
If you believe your rights have been violated, when you can, write down everything you remember, get contact information for witnesses, and take photographs of any injuries.
If you get stopped by the police, ask if you're free to go. If they say yes, calmly walk away.
If you get arrested, you have a right to ask why. Otherwise, say you wish to remain silent and ask for a lawyer immediately. Don't sign, say or agree to anything without a lawyer.
