I'm in my 50s and can say without hesitation that young people now have it far harder than we did in our 20s. Far harder. Yes, every generation struggles in its own ways, but to pretend that deep structural changes haven't happened since 2000 is cruel and dishonest. They were betrayed by those who should have helped them and looked after them. Instead of tearing the young guys down, we should be showing them the way forward, and leading by example.
Zoomers on here are like "I'm 27 and can't buy a $400k house or afford to spend $50 on doordash, the system is rigged!"
Like kid, I had 2 roommates till 29, and then 1 till 33 when I bought my own house. Cooked and meal prepped 90% of what I ate for 20 years.
