Hey Monster Masters,
We are committed to keeping combat exciting, strategic, and balanced. With that in mind, we are rolling out an update to the Protection skill to address some gameplay stagnation and ensure battles remain dynamic.
The original version of Protection provided up to 8 attack blocks, refreshing entirely on the caster's turn. In practice, this created an unintended wall that slowed down combat and hindered the overall gameplay experience, especially when facing off against Wilfred Razorstorm.
To bring this skill back into balance, we are reducing the maximum number of charges:🧵

✅ One more change to Protection: Previously, actions triggered by relics were consuming your Protection charges, rather than just direct attacks. While tuning the charges down, from now on, only true attacks will reduce Protection charges.

Something to keep in mind:
• Talents are NOT relics and cannot be equipped.
• If the boost expires or you run out of uses, the relic will automatically unequip at no cost.
• If you try to place a boosted monster with relics on defense, the relics will also unequip automatically. You’ll be warned beforehand.
