I'm fine with reading taboo books but I think it is naive to think that promoting books for research purposes is harmless. People naturally bias themselves to be sympathetic to the books they seek out and read and recency bias and other cognitive traps can lead people astray.

You see this all the time in apologetics where neophytes and unstable people read the best apologetic from X sect and assume the worst stereotypes of Y sect and conclude they are open minded and followed the truthfulness of the arguments.

Or you read an incredible new diet book that examines what insulin does when you eat bread and you create an entire Anti Bread theory around it because no one is going to pour the same effort into refuting the Anti Bread theory since it is just conventional information.

I read Mein Kampf a year or two ago and I thought it was just ok. It humanized H-dog the man and made you respect what he wanted to achieve but he explicitly opposed a Jew-pilled Christian political coalition on overt evolutionist grounds essentially denying Jews could be Xians.

It causes people to miss the less emotionally reactive and less entertaining solutions to problems that are readily available and can risk matching the freakishness of the degenerate left with a new freakishness on the right. There are a lot of problems with boring solutions.

At my son's track meet I met a white woman who was worried about her son who is deployed in Iraq whose base got hit with a missile. When I look at the "radical right" they sympathize with these exact Muslims.
They hate real white people, while claiming to be race purists.

Many so-called "dissidents" demand absolute loyalty to themselves, while giving none. They claim the right to latch onto others like parasites, adding their own ideological baggage and foolish agendas. Distancing from these people isn't the same as virtue-signaling disavowals.

Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.
We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of TΓΌrkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.
With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.
