10 things we like about
#SlyderSurvivor
Opening Round scores count
Drafts are held on Monday the 2nd to Wednesday the 4th, meaning teams are finalised before Round 0. No free hits waiting to see built-in R0 scores
No compromised bye rounds
R0 scores count for Early Byes, Averages for Mid Byes
Unique teams
Bailey Smith was owned by 13% of the Outlast Stage teams last season, compared to 100% of the top AFL Fantasy & AFL SuperCoach teams
Reward for selections
Knowing other teams can't trade them in the following week. If you like a player, grab them before someone else in your league does
Reward for total squad strength
With Best Ball scoring, anyone in your squad can count each week. Saves agonising over who to field or the weekly trade regret. The utility spot also adds some strategic opportunities
No weekend ruiners
An early injury or a poor score won't ruin your weekend or chances of progressing
League Matchups for first 11 weeks
Don’t need to worry about all other teams competing, you just need to focus on one team each week
Level playing field after Round 12
Top six of each league progress to the Outlast Stage, regardless of overall score. Scores then reset to 0, giving all teams an equal chance of winning come half way through the season
Low touch nature
While other comps are becoming increasingly consuming with rolling lockouts, late outs, loopholes and constant trade regret, Survivor offers a low-touch alternative. All you need to do is draft and the rest is taken care of for you (you can even update your pre-draft list and you don't even need to be on for the draft)
