Sparks were flying in the Welding shop last week. Students Leo Munoz Mendoza, Truett Freauff, and Dylan Martin took some time to demonstrate their skills for the camera. Bonus: Leo showed us the horse sculpture he is welding for his own personal side project.

MCC Instructor Kim Dammers leads an ice-breaking "Simon Says" exercise on the first day of his English as a Second Language class. However, he changes "Simon" to "Please" in order to start introducing new vocabulary in the first minutes of class.

MCC Media Design students are working this week on designing a logo for a fictional restaurant named "The Martian". Students use professional tools like Adobe Illustrator and Wacom tablets to create these custom graphics in faculty member Brooke Hosier's classroom.

This week the MCC Physical Therapist Assistant students learned the gait belt, walking with crutches, and they spent time measuring the MCC Fort Morgan campus to see if the sidewalks/steps/halls/doors and more are in compliance with the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA).
