We had a fun time at Show Me the Money in Newberry, FL this past weekend! We played against some great competition. As a team, we learned what we need to work and focus on to grow. I ended the tournament with a .375 BA and .545 OBP. Pitching: 10 IP, 13K, 5 BB (only 1 scored). Getting ready for our next tournament in Tyger River, SC. Our team had a great run in the SCISA 4A playoffs and advanced to the State Championship Game! I hit a 3-run 💣 over center field against the reigning state champs during playoffs. I also reached a new pitching speed PR of 63 MPH 💨 during that game!! We fell short by 1 run in extra innings during a hard-fought Championship game. So proud of my team!! We were down 0-2 against Fort Dorchester Varsity in the bottom of the 6th. I hit a bomb over center field to drive in 2 runs. We then ended up with a hit to walk it off at the end of the 7th inning to win the game 3-2.
