Our first Boxing Day performance in over 40 years!
It was wonderful to see lots of people enjoying morris dancing on 26 December: a tradition that goes back as far as 1899!
We hope to continue this tradition in Doncaster 🎩

In celebration, we wanted to share this: Doc’s earliest footage of Abingdon Morris & the electing of the ‘mock mayor’ of Ock Street. This is another example of the gorgeous 8mm footage he shot in the 1970s.
