Audi has unveiled the third-generation Q7 globally, replacing the outgoing second-generation model that remained on sale for over a decade.
• The new Q7 is based on the Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) architecture and sits between the Q5 and the upcoming Q9 in Audi’s SUV range.
• Exterior changes include split LED headlamps, a larger grille, connected tail-lamps and more upright proportions compared to its predecessor.
• Unlike the previous-generation Q7, the new model is a 5-seater as standard. Buyers can optionally choose 6-seat or 7-seat configurations.
• The cabin features a triple-screen layout, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, connected car technology and an available 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.
• Other available features include ADAS, electrically adjustable seats, soft-close doors and a switchable panoramic glass roof.
• Audi has currently revealed a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine with mild-hybrid assistance. Outputs range from 245 HP and 500 Nm to 299 HP and 630 Nm.
• Power is sent to all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro AWD system and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
• The new Q7 will go on sale in international markets from September 2026. An India launch timeline has not yet been announced.
