Today is Haruka's birthday!
Someone who opens her own birthday with an apology for being born. Who says 'sorry' more times in a day than most people do in a week — and yet, the moment it matters, steps forward without a second thought, for Aru's sake. She seems timid and bleak, but when something actually needs to be done, she moves more decisively than anyone. That's just how Haruka is.
She also quietly tends to weeds that no one else would bother with. She said she relates to them — useless, a nuisance to others — but once you start taking care of something, it stops being a weed.
Today might be a good day for Sensei to be the one to stop by first. There might be something other than an apology waiting on the other side.
