Unpacking the foundations of this Classical Indian dance form, this workshop with seminal, award-winning artist Seeta Patel introduces the form’s key elements.
Honouring Bharatanatyam’s rich heritage, this day long workshop for professional dance artists and dance students age 16 , focuses on the form’s fundamental storytelling principles and will include creative exercises and insight into Seeta’s process.
We will delve into how to engage with diasporic art forms in a contemporary context with sensitivity and respect.
