eastwoods directing career—starting with million dollar baby hes got a 16 film / 20 year stretch that rivals any director ever. and he finishes with a piece that approaches the moral complexity of melvilles billy budd—about as high a compliment as i can imagine giving.

if juror #2 is playing anywhere near you you should go watch it. (it should have been playing everywhere in america.) what a clean beautiful intense deceptively simple film. im not sure we will ever see a film like this again. a final masterful note from a master of the form.

the true loser last night was logan paul and his juvenile response to tyson. he failed to understand that the time for talking shit was over and the time for respect & congrats had begun. the ultimate beauty of sports is they expose our souls—and logan pauls is fkn dumb.
