When you notice the other Chase lounge passenger who had shakshuka, brie w jam, and 3 espressos and is likely absolutely farting up their section of the plane.

$10 was the perfect amount to choose for the "it's a banana what could it cost" joke to be hilarious and timeless

We as a society don’t demonize RBG enough for how selfish she was at the end of her career and how detrimental it was to America. If people saw how she was talked about and how her legacy was ruined after her death, maybe they’d think twice about keeping a grip on power. Maybe.

I saw a lot of outrage about folks vandalizing Stonehenge (with temporary paint btw). It shows how easy it is to react to something acute and in your face. But if there were some industrial plant miles away that was polluting the air and slowly discoloring Stonehenge

over decades, I don't think anyone would blink. As our climate situation worsens, these types of climate change protest acts are only going to get more extreme in nature and frequency, and I pray that people will shift their anger from the demonstrations to the root cause.

Keep seeing more articles about H5N1, decided to buy some PPE eye protection in case this ends up becoming an issue. Would love to know what trends in purchases or cart additions related to PPE/quarantine purchases might be happening as a sentiment indicator.

Coal plants are just 20% of our power mix right now, but because it's so dirty, it's still more than half of the power sector's CO2 emissions. The new rules say that coal fired power plants need to capture all of their CO2 by 2032 or close by 2039.

TikTok has kind of become trash. Full of tags for ads, sponsored posts, shopping, and “eligible for commission.” And the holiday season isn’t even in full swing. Soon it’ll be the app equivalent of the home shopping network.

Insta is all about having you tag restaurants and locations you’ve been to. How is there not a way for me to save these to travel lists natively within insta? Seems like such an obvious opportunity.

Using Midjourney has inspired a love and deep curiosity for art in me. Now if I want an image in a certain style, I find myself looking up different artists and their styles and being exposed to so much more of their work than I would’ve otherwise explored.
