I met @10footinvestor yesterday and can confirm they’re a big red dog, just like their profile pic :) If you haven’t, go have a read of what he wrote last month, probably the most insightful thing I’ve read on LLMs/business/profit/edge betterbusiness.substack.com/…

I met @MrQuick_ today for the first time. Can confirm they are a long leggy blonde exactly like the profile pic Was a genuine pleasure after literally years of reading the newsletter; should have done it a long time ago

RBA had least restrictive policy relative to inflation than comparable economies in the previous rate cycle Since the start of the previous cycle (2022) we’ve had 2 qtrs below trimmed mean 3% inflation. TWO! None below the midpoint test! Price level is a mega problem now
At its meeting today, the Board decided to increase the cash rate target by 25 basis points to 4.35 per cent. Read the full statement here: ow.ly/mPc550YUPWc

The biggest change in computing is here, Intel’s 90% stronghold on the server market is going to disappear in a blink. @Nd172557208 give into M1, the future is now old man.

Oh shit. Okay they’re back, $INTC is back on. They’re going to have the most advanced node. TMSC in shambles. Per their 2013 CEO Paul Otellini - “At the end of the day, the best transistors win, no matter what you’re building, a server or a phone” I’m not long enough…

Although intel might have a tailwind, clear as day that ARM was always supremely positioned Power tightness means efficiency doubly matters for inference. Intel might win but ARM never stopped winning. x.com/evergreencap3/status/2…

$GOOGL's TPU v8 design is very positive for $ARM: 1) For the first time, Google's single-threaded Arm CPU (Axion) is the head-node for the TPU. 2) To meet surging agentic demands, Google is also doubling the amount of physical CPU hosts per TPU inference server (CPU:XPU ↑)
