Nothing overly strict at all here. Consistent routines and clarity with expectations benefit all, reduce disruption and maximise learning. Behaviour must be explicitly taught, and consistent across the entire school.

First three books of the year done: the Mistborn trilogy. โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ - Highly recommend and definitely one of the best fantasy series Iโve read.

I spent this morning sat marking my classes end of term writing assessments, with such a smile on my face. I can honestly say that Talk 4 Writing has had such a profound impact on the writing of the students in our school.

Itโs not new, but here is my poster summary of @teacherhead blog on modelling and why the We Do phase is the heart of I Do, We Do, You Do. The idea is that like the baton handover, a successful transition from guided to independent practice depends on students having a firm grip.
