Week 43 (Ending 10-29-2023) Where are we now? It’s week #6 for “Knock Knock by MLove (@QueenMLove) and the track had 48 spins during last week, and that is 3x the average. 👏🏾👏🏾🔥 Unbelievable work by her fan base to keep this track on top of the list. So, next week will tie Molly McCoy’s 7 weeks and week ending Nov 12th will start a new record. The #2 track hasn’t been on the top 20 in months. Millionahre (I don’t have his X tag) has been doing nice since his debut on the station about a year ago. “Grow & Prove [Feat. Villa Dom]” (@Lilvillapub) was in the mid 50’s to 60’s over the past few months. Requests have suddenly brought the track up the list to end at #2 for the week. The rest of the top 5 convo is reserved for MLove (smile) as I mentioned before, her fan base has been incredible. It seemed like every time I turned on the radio, one of her songs was playin'. Interestingly enough, as I'm typing this, one of her songs is playing 😅 Anyway, “I Cried” dropped a spot from #2 to #3. “Just Another Love Song” dropped a spot from #3 to #4 and “All Mine” picked up 2 spots from #7 to #5. That was a quick convo, I normally just talk about the first 5 on the list. Over the years, it was usually 5 different artist 😂 So, what should I talk about next? I could mention how 29Koryy, (@29Koryy) wit’ “ThugLove [Feat. Ty Gotti]” (@TyGotti105) is definitely gonna make the top 20 of 100 in its debut year. Big Pak, (@bigpaksview), “I Don’t Mind [Feat. Karla Pace]” is in the same boat in its debut year of being in the top 20 of 100. Smiz The Moneykid (@smizthemoneykid) “Bang Bang Trap [Feat. Joel Taylor]” will be repeating an appearance on the top 100. But beside that fact, they have all maintained positions on this weeks list…….plus or minus a spot or 3. Sun-Raw makes his very first appearance on the top 20. His track “Ayo! Ayo!” has been spinning for about a month now. I’m feeling this trac & I hope it won’t be the last time I get to speak about it. Cleveland’s own Trenchboy Brickz,(@trenchboybrickz) is back with his timeless banger “Spin Again” after a lil’ bit of an absence from the list. I’ve been a fan of this young man for about 4 years now. His music, and bars seem to get better after each track. I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s next for him down the road. I know already that the futures gonna be 🔥 Dj Big Inf (@djbiginf) had a sole track on the list last week. “We Da Ones”. I mentioned he’s giving opportunities for others to shine 😆 This week, he’s holding down an extra 2 positions. One is “1 Thang”, the other is “The Look of Life”. With like 8 weeks left to this year, there’s no time to slack. A spot can be snatched up otherwise. So, I’ll be expecting to see more of his tracks on the list to close out 2023. I mention this every chance I get, that this request mania that’s happening now is due to Big Inf & his fan bases efforts over the past few months. The time limit for requests has been lowered to 150 mins. We got to talking and decided to knock 30 mins off. We’ll know if that plan was a good idea or not as the week goes on. I say that because I had no idea that if this thing grew, how it would affect the daily operations the way it has. I mean that in a great way and the upside is, it hasn’t affected listeners going away from hearing a song too much. Aight, I’d love to type some more, but this post is a day late and I know a few select people are invested in how things are playing out.
