Still using whistles in the early years?
Itโs a BIG no no!
Under 5s are extremely sensitive to noise; particularly high-pitched, loud noises.
Therefore whistles can cause upset, distress and even pain ๐.

EYFS should be all about free-flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Government is considering including outdoor spaces in EY settings when dictating the number of children that can attend the setting.

Very interesting!
I believe working walls and displays showcasing childrenโs work are valuable.
But, I believe general displays should be replaced with knowledge organisers in books that all students are shown how to refer to effectively and therefore access more easily.
