Fridays are our day to share! These kids love giving and receiving feedback on their writing each week! My favorite writing warmup is our sentence expansion. We do a small part of it each day of the week.This weekβs focus was including proper nouns in our sentence. @GFESWildcats

Dr. Danielle Grove, a biology professor from Texas Lutheran University, came to visit our first graders today! She talked about her role as a scientist and what she does! She also showed us some of her science tools and how they are used!

We did some critical writing w/ Ms. Davidson (my student teacher) today! I love seeing academic language in their writing! Ss created 2D shapes with βwork dohβ & then were asked to partition them into fractional parts, followed by explaining their work in writing @GFESWildcats
