My students were asked to write about their favorite toy and record a commercial for their classmates. They enjoyed coming up with slogans and practiced persuasive techniques. The students were on the edge of their seat viewing them today. They are ready to make the next one! π¬

I asked students to reward each other with points each time they see a peer working hard, focusing, or doing something nice. Two of my students earned their reward this week. They asked to eat lunch in my room with a friend. Iβm proud of the positive attitudes and behavior!

My students set a goal that as a class, we would grow by 500 points collectively for the I-Ready reading and math diagnostics. Students were SO proud when they grew by 589 points. We celebrated with some victory pizza and a movie! @MsKatieDunlap
