I think teaching is the only job you have to work, before you get to work, so you have work to do at work. Then because I had no time at work to do work, I have to work after work to catch up on the work I didn’t do while at work.
Threatening us with OFSTED and extending the list of children who can access school buildings which just increases risk of spread and puts everyone back in danger while increasing stress levels yet again - our Secretary of State for Education at his best everyone 👏🏻🙄😫

Schools will never ‘close’. They will be open to vulnerable and key worker children. Alongside this, teachers will then work their backsides off to provide online learning for other children. Explain how that is the same as being furloughed?
Even in these uncertain/ strange times, I am feeling grateful for working with such a great team and being able to get back to teaching a class of wonderful Year 2’s.
In the Y1 bubble today..
Me: (talking about worries) you may have been worried when coming back to school because I’m not your usual teacher
Pupil: yeah maybe, but I actually love you being my teacher.
Been into school today to sort the y1 classroom ready for them coming back to school. As sad as it was removing cushions and resources from the classroom, it’s made me so excited to be teaching little year 1s again! ❤️
If you missed today's talk from @mr_bmh1 and myself on Continuous Provision in Year 1 and 2, it is now on our Youtube along with our podcast. My apologies again for the jazz hands! youtube.com/watch?v=odVJYIh8…
That daily briefing has got me feeling emotional. I miss my job, I miss the children I teach & I miss doing what I love best in the classroom 💔 With this said, I'm so proud of the people I work with and all of those up and down the country for doing their bit!
