RCOE is sponsoring Mental Health Matters (week of May 24). Mental illness affects all of us in one way or another.
During Mental Health Matters Week, TK-12 grade students in Riverside County are invited to participate in a Mental Health Matters Poster Contest. Students may submit their digital or hand drawn artwork by May 21. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mention. Selected artwork will be displayed in the RCOE Wellness Centers throughout the county.
We also invite families, students and educators to participate in Mental Health Spirit Week activities. Each day features a theme concerning mental health with activities for adults and students to enjoy as they learn the importance of mental health.
