It has been a brilliant day at the @BeaconofLight for our Year 6 children. We worked with staff from @SAFCFoL - developing teamwork skills and learning about careers in sports, computer programming and social media.

We are architectural designers!
Using Zaha Hadid’s iconic, curved buildings as inspiration, we designed our own museums, schools, stadiums, offices and homes in the same style, then used AI to turn our creations into reality.
Aren’t these just fabulous?! 🤩

These bold and brilliant chairs were designed by US! Inspired by @YinkaIlori_ and his colourful and uplifting furniture, we designed our own pieces. Now we have seen the realistic models, we will work on making our chairs more accessible for all.

We sang our hearts out and danced our socks off at our final Broadway Harvest Festival at Bethany Memorial Church this week. What an uplifting morning! Thank you to everyone at home for all of the kind donations of food.

We were inspired by the gorgeous pieces from artist Yinka Shonibare and tried to create our own.
