Hands-on math in action! Ss used a yarn number line to place and compare equivalent fractions and then created their own line plots with a set of data. We are seeing math come to life one fraction at a time! ๐งฎ @TCBOE @MunfordElem @WendyBwgail

5th graders turned math into a Volume Zoo! After researching their animals and designing Canva presentations, they built their creatures out of rectangular prisms, calculated the volume of each box, and brought their zoo animals to life! ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฆ @MunfordElem @AshleyGableEDU

Fractions as division just got sweeter! ๐ซ Split a pack of Cosmic Brownies and ask: If 4 friends share 3 brownies, how many does each get? Then draw a model to show the division. Try different numbers to explore fractions as division! @MunfordElem @WendyBwgail @AshleyGableEDU
