A take away from @E_Sheninger's Disruptive Thinking "All kids have greatness hidden inside them. It is the job of an educator to help find and unleash that greatness." This is a great reminder to find innovative ways to reach ALL students. They're all capable and amazing!

So, @BetsyDeVosED on #CNNSOTU said that she won't give advice on what schools should do in case of an outbreak "because I am not a doctor".
YET, she will tell schools EXACTLY what she wants them to do, even though she is not an educator....

Every politician should be required to spend one day in an elementary school, one day in a middle school, and one day in a high school before they can say what teachers can or can’t do.
And shadow during that day the principal, teachers, cafeteria, arts, nurse, librarian, etc.

My biggest take away from #kidsdeserveit is “leave it in the car.” It was a great reminder that no matter what is going on in your personal life the students deserve the best you. Even with the stresses of our world, the Ss deserve a happy and supportive teacher #aledoreadsathome

Today we reviewed author’s purpose by creating a classifying map & finding books from our scholastic order form to add to it! The kiddos loved pretending they were shopping for books and figuring out what the purpose for reading it would be! #growinggreatness #codercats
