Excited for Christmas themed maths carpet sessions to consolidate '5' next week! Children will use STEM sentences to discuss what they can see and represent using counters/part part whole diagram. #eyfs #earlymaths #eytagteam #EYtwittertagteam

I've also made a stocking template for another day. Children should then be able to use the STEM sentences more independently ie 'There are 4 red stockings and 1 green stocking. Altogether there are five stockings' or '4 is a part, 1 is a part, 5 is the whole.' #eyfs #earlymaths

I make the slides on Smart Notebook. If you select 'Infinite Cloner' with the objects at the bottom you can quickly and easily make all kinds of number stories in Maths. #eyfs #earlymaths #eytwittertagteam #eytagteam

Not been very active on here recently. We are a week into home learning again after our bubble had to isolate. 1 more week to go! I have put my tree up to make this isolation slightly better. And developed a candle obsession so the room always smells of Christmas π
