Ms. Studer’s class created a diamond dance to teach about the forces and motions they use in their vegetable gardens. They used their knowledge of shapes and counting to choreograph their dance, and they documented the process in STEAM journals! @MrsS_OG @OGESeagles @STEMGeorgia

Students are harvesting basil from the garden to hang dry and share with our families! We discussed the physical attributes of freshly harvested basil and will observe how those attributes change as it dries.

We have been learning that teen numbers are a group of 10 plus some number of extra ones. We used an earth material (rocks) to practice counting a group of 10 first. Then we added the extra ones to make a teen number! #outdoorlearning @OGESeagles @CherokeeSchools
