🌙 Eid Mubarak 🌙 Golden Domes & Silver Lanterns written by @henakhanbooks The beautiful illustrations by #mehrdokhtamini. I read this to FS2 and Yr1 students before our Eid holiday. The children loved it & as we are working on rhyming books, this was perfect. #picturebook #eid

Just finished the amazing #TheLostCompass by #thefogdiver published by @harpercollins The sequel to #TheFogDiver is absolutely amazing. It literally pulled me in straight away and I loved, loved, loved how the characters personally grew through the book. #middlegrade
Lulu Series by #JudithViorst drawings by @bearskinrug Totally ❤️ this funny #realisticfiction at its best! Lulu starts as a little moody moo & turns into a great confident character. Astudents told me Lulu is like his sister! 🤪A hit with the students folks!
Why cant I walk past a bookshop without buying something? Today’s sneaky little purchase is ‘The one and only Bob’ by @kaaauthor . My ‘to read’ pile is getting waaaaaay too big. Does that mean I need to stop buying books? Nope, not at all!

How have I only just stumbled across this book #Frindle by #andrewclements fab illustrations by #brianselznick Such a funny story with a Fantastic ending. Can’t believe that I have only just read it. If you haven’t got it, get it. If you haven’t read it, read it! #loveit

After reading What Animals Really like by #FionaRobinson my Year 1 class surprises me with their interpretation of the animals in the book! ❤️ I love when the students love a book so much that they think about it afterwards and do drawings. So proud of them all ❤️❤️ #picturebook

One of the best things about starting a new #Primary #library from scratch, is having the students suggest books! Quite a few students request the #HamsterPrincess series by @UrsulaV I’m going to have some very happy students tomorrow when I show them 😍 #middlegrade

🌫 The Fog Diver 🌫 by @thefogdiver I’ve just finished this amazing #fantasy book. I love a book that pulls you in and makes you feel that you are a part of the story. Amazing. Will the underdog win in the end? Definitely recommend reading to find out! #BookReview
Crescent Moons & Pointed Minarets by @henakhanbooks artwork by #mehrdokhtamini I read this stunning book to my FS2 class #Ramadan. The students loved hearing & seeing the shapes in our architecture. This is a beautiful unique book to add to your library.
