Thanks to #KindersCan, today I did the hardest thing and let go of control… and let my kids play! There’s was a full functioning gingerbread bakery in my room this afternoon, ran entirely by kids. #440proud
Snowball fight! We practiced our new phonics skill by having an indoor snowball fight. Each paper had a picture that the students had to record the word for. Then crumple it up and throw! #440proud
Attended #KindersCan23 yesterday. Was reminded how important play is in early childhood. I’m excited to make adjustments in my room after break and incorporate the new book I won!
Kept my phonics group on their toes today and let them use their desks as whiteboards. “Mrs. Sperry, are you going to get in trouble with Mr. Conard for this?” 😂 #440proud#phonics
Some highlights of this month.. coding phonics skills words, making my daily calendar routine digital so kids manipulate ALL parts themselves (and get better with Keynote features), and creating math movies to show our current skills. #440proud#AppleClass
It’s finally done! I’ve published my first resource on the Apple Books store. This is a simple guide to help math teachers utilize iPads to allow their students to create with their iPads! #ADE2023#OBT#440proudbooks.apple.com/us/book/thre…

New month, new theme! Welcome to Hocus Pocus school. We kicked off with a beginning sound match, a ghost subitizing game, sorted words on to short vowel spiders, and a pumpkin patch counting sensory bin. #440proud
