Learning about animal ID with ear notches and ear tags. We created our own pig ears and cattle heads, and then personalized our identification numbers based on birth dates. Students compared numbers and created “herd records” of their classmates.

What better way to explore all of our anatomy lessons than students experiencing a dissection! We found all of our organs and gained a new understanding of how body systems come together.

Using samples we grew from swabs cultures, Vet Med class learned how to isolate a bacterial colony and perform a gram stain lab. We are positive about how much fun we had!
