Inspiration isn’t just about “Aha!” moments. It’s a complex interplay of evocation, transcendence, and motivation. But here’s what I’m pondering: How can we cultivate more openness in our daily lives to invite inspiration? Maybe it’s about creating space for wonder, embracing the unfamiliar, or simply pausing to notice the extraordinary in the ordinary. What inspires you? #emotions #inspiration #permissiontofeel #emotionalintelligence

If you are able to donate blood please consider it! February and March are consistently low donor months for blood banks. 💙 @InovaHealth

Students wrote how they feel when they use each of the four styles of communication in SEL flex. Many noted how one of the only quadrants with positive emotions linked to the style was assertive. This is our reminder to attempt to be direct, clear, and kind to others! @mehms

We always learn that we ebb and flow between communication styles, but want to strive to being assertive when we can!

Today, we discussed why so many educators struggle to identify feelings. A revelation: educators & counselors are so focused on supporting kids’ feelings, they forget to take care of their own. “I don’t have the time to reflect” Let’s prioritize educator well-being this year!
