We had our first large group BPAC meeting on Tuesday this week! Parents and community members engaged in great discussions regarding state programs and state rules and regulations!

The event covered an array of topics designed to empower our teachers and enhance their expertise in dual language education. From creating a dynamic classroom environment to implementing effective biliteracy instructional strategies, our educators delved into bridging in math, explored the art of translanguaging, and honed their skills in modeling academic language while validating the unique linguistic variations that enrich our diverse school community!
There was a captivating Q&A session at the end along with exciting raffles!

In the last 25 years, wages for college graduates have risen 28%. Wages for teachers during the same period, only 2%.
Weāre calling on states and districts to increase teacher pay. Itās time our teachers saw the support and pay they deserve.
