The Koalas had so much fun creating these giant Yetis in our measurement unit! To make the Yetis, the Koalas had to develop a strategy to create body parts that were twice the length of their own.

Our field trip to @TheOutdoorLab was a blast! Group 3 found salamanders while exploring the creek, saw a pulley in action that lifted one of their friends in the air, and explored a mini amphibian ecosystem where they could touch a frog egg cluster!

We had a day full of being thankful yesterday! The Koalas enjoyed playing a gratitude game & reading with our buddy class, Ms. Costa’s Pastas. Then we ended our day with the classic Charlie Brown Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving to all the Nottingham Knights πŸ’™πŸ€

Out of our 24 Koalas 12 ran to be our SCA class representatives!! It was so close but our winners are Julia & Timothy!! The Koalas were good sports and celebrated the win with their classmates πŸ¨πŸ’™

We are starting to learn about the Water Cycle next week and the Koalas had the coolest introduction today from @NESknightLab !!! They acted out the water cycle process & made mini water cycles in baggies we will check up on periodically 🌦
