The government is very aware of who I am and what I do; they should be - I’ve worked on counterterrorism issues for the UN, State, DOS, DHS, and more under the Obama, Trump I, and Biden administrations. ISIS, Army of God, and all the run of the mill Neo-Nazi organizations are, too — see above as per why. So feel free to keep harassing away, and add me to all the lists you’d like. I’m afraid you’re a bit late to the game, but your time is valuable, so just doing my best to help you out here. This has been a PSA.

Another beautiful point of commonality between Lawrence, Kansas and Algeria (as dear to my whole heart and soul as both these places are): INDIGENOUSNESS. From the Midwest to the [so-called] 'MidEast': EXISTENCE IS RESISTANCE. KU isn't Lawrence's only university, and DON'T YOU FORGET IT. Haskell Indian Nations, the biggest intertribal institution of higher education in the US, is also there (if you're in town, don't miss out on the school's annual February / May pow wows). Algeria is home to one of the most vibrant North African indigenous communities: the Kabyle (you may have heard the term "Berber," but do us all a favor and use "Amazigh" instead). If you get the chance to visit Algeria between June and August, head to Tizi Ouzou for the Kabyle Music Festival!

For anyone just joining us on my Timeline, ask anyone in the antifascist and anti-Nazi space if you need help figuring out the mystery of words in my bio. x.com/tenepod/status/2058898…

(who wants to tell him, y'all) fuck it, I will. Because my entire personal, political, and professional life is dedicated to destroying them.

My views on white supremacists aren't exactly a riddle. x.com/MsEntropy/status/20578…

In sum, analysis: The Islamic Center attack here in San Diego is most clearly categorized as Neo-Nazi accelerationist in orientation, albeit with nods to contemporary neo-fascist inside referenced from the contemporary social media ecosystem. This excerpt from the San Diego shooters’ manifesto 100% originates from Tom Metzger’s post-1980s ideological synthesis (here in San Diego, no less): Eco-fascism, National Socialism, accelerationalism, and Third Positionism — all the way down to Metzger’s slogan, “race is my religion.” I’ve been working on my book about Metzger (right here in San Diego, in fact) for 6 years, and his particular worldview and imprint are unmistakeable. That is not, in fact, “NVE.” And, again, the ideological influence of Tom Metzger evident in the San Diego attackers’ manifesto (and consistently throughout the genre of Neo-Nazi accelerationist copycat manifestos) is also crystal clear in the shooters’ invocation of Atomwaffen, James Mason, and SIEGE. Further: When Brandon Russell wanted to found AWD back in the Iron March days, he reached out Metzger first, in order to track down Mason. Why? Because Metzger was the *sole* white supremacist underground movement leader that kept Mason’s ideas in circulation. Case in point: Once, again, the San Diego Islamic Center attack is a relatively clear-cut case of Neo-Nazi accelerationism, and the manifesto’s plagiarism / citations of others in the genre display a consistent, genealogical ‘through line” of ideology — back to the OG himself: Tom Metzger. This attack is neither new, nor “nihilistic violent extremism” in character. I am pushing no other “agenda” than the result of well over a decade of professional specialization on this movement, over six of that in San Diego County — where I’m more than familiar with Metzger’s continuing, posthumous influence on a local and regional level. Feel free to disagree. We all have opinions.

I'm almost speechless. This is so wild and absolutely beautiful to see. Underneath my old KU dorm room window is a GIANT Algerian flag -- my beloved second homeland literally merging into the landscape of my beloved undergrad home in Lawrence. Kansas, Algeria, I love y'all so much.

Lawrence actually has a wild revolutionary history and ethos of its own - dividing line in the civil war between free states and slave states. KU’s mascot, the Jayhawks, take the name from anti-slavery vigilante militias from the Bleeding Kansas era, Lawrence was burnt to the ground by Confederates, and John Brown statues are all over campus and the city — also home to the largest intertribal university in the US.

So, you know that article I'm writing this weekend? The one about how much my beloved second homelands, Algeria and Kansas, actually have in common -- especially around each place's legacy of anti-racist, anti-imperialist, solidarity struggles, and liberation movements? Read this whole exchange linked below - I'm not crying; you're crying! Never in my life did I dare to hope my two adopted homelands would meet one another in such a beautiful way. <3 x.com/CCufjgx/status/2065817… #Kansas #Algérie #WorldCup #myheart #fate #الجزائر #كانساس #قلبي #مكتوب #كأس_العالم

The Algerian-American friendship dates back to 1759 when Salim al-Jazairi lived in Virginia and mingled with its elite and all classes of American society, who were impressed by him and held him in high esteem.

Last Algeria memory of the night, but one of my favorites — I took this photo on Valentine’s Day 2012, just as a gorgeous thunderstorm broke out above Makam Al Shahid (Monument to the Martyrs) in Algiers. (Had some crazy nights at the discotheque beneath it, too, lol) ❤️
