This week 3rd Graders @DutchNeckWWP are creating Google Slides projects about their 3 greatest wishes. I didn't know what to expect, as I told them they could wish for ANYTHING. What I found amazed me. Children truly are the future. šŸ’™ #HumanityinTech

The virtual teaching equivalent to students stopping by your classroom or hanging out when they don't have your class is students staying on the ZOOM or Google Meet when they can leave. Today I had 3 students stay on and talk, and it made my day.

To the parents who are worried that they are not doing enough to help their child stay "on-track" during this unprecedented time: The fact that you are concerned means your child is going to be just fine.

Yes, it's true that distance learning is difficult for many of our students, but the e-learning platform provides opportunities for our quieter students to have a louder voice. I am noticing MUCH more participation from my female students and students of asian descent. #win

We can no longer exploit the resources of this earth—the trees, the water, and other natural resources—without any care for coming generations. Common sense tells us that unless we change, we won’t survive. This Earth Day let’s resolve to live in harmony with nature.

60 min of physical activity a day!Ā  Why?Ā  Because exercise decreases stress, improves mood, boosts the immune system, and activates every part of the brain.Ā  Even if it's not a class assignment, do it anyway!Ā  #becauseIloveyou #physedĀ @MOSHAPE1 @SHAPE_America @rockwoodschools

Hey parents, this may be a good time to check in with your kids and have a talk about why "Chinese Virus" is not okay.
The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus. We will be stronger than ever before!

Stopping the spread of #COVID19 requires us to act regionally & cooperatively. I’m grateful for the leadership and partnership of @GovernorTomWolf in our effort to protect the public health of New Jerseyans and Pennsylvanians. Our policies are in sync. We’re all in this together.
