If anyone’s looking for a wonderfully fantastic children’s read, I can highly recommend The Wind Child by Polish born author @GabrielaHouston . Based on Eastern European mythology, it’s packed full of Slavic Gods and Monsters. Perfect to fire that burgeoning imagination! ❤️

I gave a speech at the Policy Forum for Wales on Friday, setting out a range of recent evidence on curriculum reform, and calling for Welsh Government to reconsider the role of knowledge in the curriculum framework. #CfW

Willow’s seasonal bookshelf ❄️🌿 we now get to indulge in the wonderful children’s books available, as well as introducing Willow to some of the classics I loved as a child. She’s only tiny, but still loves to hear the story and explore the pictures and pages with her hands 🥹❤️

If this is what went wrong with CfE in Scotland then we need to make sure we don’t make same mistakes with CfW. The role of knowledge cannot be downgraded. If it is, we risk widening gaps further.
