School officially starts tomorrow for the county I called home for the last 5 years. I’ve had parents calling and texting looking for me. I’ve had students find me. If I did nothing else I made an impact on their hearts. That’s a job well done for me. This school year, I rest.

As the 25 - 26 school year approaches…I’m in a “different” space. For the 1st time in a decade I’m not feeling the mix of anxiety, dread and excitement. It’s weird but I’m ok! Good Luck to all the Educators out there this year!!!

We started our IB Unit w/an activity where scholars had to figure out our Central Idea. They received the central idea cut into pieces and had to form a statement that made sense and connected to the word “adaptation”. They came up with some good ones. This was fun 😊

I’m not waking up at 4 anymore because I’ve shut the alarm off. However waking up at 5:30 NATURALLY during Summer Break is CRAZY. My body won’t let me sleep until 10 for NOTHING! 🤦🏾♀️
