Sex and housework: In heterosexual couples with children, when women do more of the household labour than men, they have lower sexual desire, for two reasons: 1) they are more likely to see their partners as dependent on them, and 2) they see the division of labour as unfair

Implications: Women's sexual desire is constrained by gender inequities. Low desire in women is not located in women, their bodies or minds. Instead, it is a symptom of a broader problem, of inequalities between men and women, including in the division of household labour.

I never, ever drink coffee (also rarely drink pop or eat out) & have only been to Starbucks twice in my life YET people always suggest that’s how I’m going to afford to pay my #studentloans! 🤷🏼♀️🙄
Don’t have all the streaming apps either. Don’t get my nails done. I could go on!

The arrogance of the people who say pay off your #studentloans with these few “easy” steps like everything is one size fits all. 🙄🤦🏼♀️ Each situation is different, so maybe we need a task force to decide how to handle each person’s situation & loans! And stop punishing people!!

Many people have paid their student loans for decades but the balance never decreased. Their student debt means they can't get married, no kids, home, savings, can't live. Many are considering suicide. & Student debt cannot be forgiven in bankruptcy. It's a cruel system. 3/11

The #BarbieMovie was pretty good! But my guess is that very conservative, patriarchal Christian men will hate it.
Side note: I will never hear “Push” by Matchbox Twenty the same again. Let’s just say I’ve been pushed around… A LOT!

I get kind of sad when I see people say they’re getting married and they haven’t known each other a full year yet. If I knew them I’d say “TOO SOON!” But I also know sometimes it works out! I wish I had waited longer. AND DO now, thankfully, otherwise I’d be divorced twice! 💜

Don’t be willing to lower yourself down (meaning your confidence, independence & wisdom) to make somebody feel comfortable. If someone is intimidated by who you are that’s on them. Just be your true authentic self instead of fake. The right people will appreciate that about you!

I’m just so disheartened, discouraged, and tired of seeing people get away with treating people unfairly, lying, stealing, cheating, and pure manipulation. Is there any goodness left in this world? Why do so many do wrong? Because they get away with it. 😔

DIVORCE (if you want to leave an adulterer or abuser) and especially if you ever want to get REmarried to someone else (that’s adultery right? but adulterer get free pass 🤷🏼♀️). 💜

An increasing number of Evangelicals are arguing that there are “levels” of sin, i.e. that some are for worse in God’s eyes than others.
