Pre-k and kinder students wrote encouraging notes to their third and fourth grade buddies before taking their state assessment this morning. The encouragement and motivation was just what they needed to show what they know! 🤩 @BHKnights512

Our 2nd graders love Greg Tang lessons! Learning how to decompose numbers by shifting 10s & 100s. Starting with place value disks & ten frames to build conceptual understanding & background knowledge for subtraction. So many math thinkers at BH! #uKnighted512 @gregtangmath

We can’t wait to see our students fill the Wall of Champions with their trophies to celebrate meeting their growth goal for MAP Testing! Students will write their name on their trophy & how many points they grow on their test & join the wall of fame! 🤩🏆 #uKnighted512

2nd and 6th grade buddies had a Fall Balloon Float Parade! Students read Balloons Over Broadway, took a virtual field trip, & then created their very own float. Love the creativity and community connections. #uKnighted512 also shoutout to @MrsLoeBH for the amazing hat

Coteaching 4th grade SS. Students learned about renewable and nonrenewable resources in the NE region. We went coal mining with cookies and students compared this to the effects coal mining has on the land. #uKnighted512 @BHKnights512
