Jan Kluytmans zei dat vaccins de pandemie eindigden maar met een vaccinatie graad van 85% kwamen de meeste gevallen in 2022 (honderduizenden) en liepen toch de IC’s leeg terwijl bij eerdere golven de IC’s overliepen dat kwam dus allemaal door Omicron en niet door vaccins.

This is exactly why infection-control protocols exist one procedural error can expose an entire team. this should absolutely be investigated to understand why these procedural errors were made and how similar exposures can be prevented in the future.

The 12 members of staff at the Dutch hospital made procedural errors during the blood draw and disposal of urine from the patient contaminated with hantavirus.

Public communication during outbreaks is always a difficult balance. Keeping people informed matters, but so does avoiding unnecessary panic. Media attention can absolutely amplify fear, yet transparency and timely updates are also essential in public health.
Amazing. We have 8 patients, some contacts, and need press conferences at a dock where this ship disembarks. From the sounds of it, the world press is there. After this is over, I would suggest an evaluation of the role of media in hyping of epidemics. That may really backfire
