(Intro to strong & stable structures) Day 2 of testing strength: Yesterday we used 12 straws to create a cube. The load of the 📚 collapsed each groups’ structure. Today, each group got 8 more straws and were asked to make their cube stronger! Look at their creative designs.

Each group shared their idea design and why they thought it would support the structures strength. Tomorrow we learn about the strongest shape and how that strengthens structures. As we continue our unit, I can’t wait to see how their structure designs improve w/new learning!
