When a large employer pays so little that their full time employees qualify for Medicaid , (or any public assistance ) we the taxpayers are effectively subsidizing that big company. That’s wrong

I feel like we have destroyed our ability to learn in the US. We really have only provided and rewarded rote data retention for decades, and then seem surprised when no one grasps context, which is the foundation of critical thinking. 1/2

High school and higher #education instructors are often frustrated by students' lack of practical comprehension, but this is exactly how students have been trained. Conformity over comprehension. 2/2

Therapists will be like “Yeah I know how to treat mental illness” and then only know how to treat irrational thinking, having no idea how to help people whose mental illness is actually a reasonable and proportional response to objective reality

There is no peer-reviewed study on Earth linking vaccines to autism. Not a single one. The “study” he’s referencing used data from Florida Medicaid records to examine autism rates. What they found was kids who get more medical care are more likely to be evaluated for ASD.

When someone with a complex chronic illness dies at home it’s unlikely anyone knows that they were debating medical care. That they would have gone in if not for the myriad of times they were ignored or abused. Those stories never get told. /7
