We are no longer dying in battles or combat. We are dying for amusement, victims of a soldier who may be drunk and fires at us or perhaps firing in celebration or perhaps soldiers testing their sniper rifles on the chests of Gaza’s people.

Another tragedy: the young man Khalil Al-Masri, from my hometown Beit Hanoun. He survived the bombardment, the hunger, and the displacement, but he did not survive the stray bullets fired by soldiers who seem to have no regard for human life.
Imagine sitting with your friends in a café, only to be struck by a bullet fired by a soldier recklessly shooting at random.
I know these words may no longer make any difference, and perhaps I could be the next victim of another soldier’s stray bullet. But would any human being in the world accept living under such conditions, Just imagine you lived here, or your children lived here!
